System Optimizer
- The crustbreaking cylinder retracts directly after contact with the bath
- The pot controller handles two signals: The signal for movement and the signal for pressure
- The bath surface detection unit, "Crust Module", sends the signals of bath contact and piston position directly to the pot controller
- The System Optimizer works with dual pressure mode. Using this mode enables a long life time of materials, e.g. sealings and reduces the number of anode effects.
Two different versions of System Optimizer
The System Optimizer is a patented system by Bosch Group that enables to have a complete monitoring of the aluminium reduction process inside the pot cell. It can be divided into two different versions: BASIC and ADVANCED
