The advantage of gas turbines over steam turbines is that the entire thermal power can be controlled via the fuel quantity. For mastering the turbine in terms of control and safety, only various systems are required in the fuel circuit. Generally, gas turbines can be provided with two fuel systems for natural gas or fuel oil. The equipment depends on the final customer’s wishes.
The required control and safety equipment must be rated for different operating methods. It consists of oil and gas valves which are actuated by hydraulic cylinders and controls by Rexroth.
